Film is enhanced life!

Ylva Forner is a writer/director based in Stockholm.
Beginning with her film school days in Barcelona, she has developed her her overly romantic, melancholic style of storytelling.
Her short films have toured the world in festivals and been aired by various TV stations.

She is now working on her first full length feature together withHysteria Film,  producer Malla Grapengiesser.

She attributes her poignant style to the European film tradition. She grew up devouring American gangster movies and loves The Wire.
As many directors before her Forner is a trained actress and considers the art of acting to be the foundation of all film. She has a never ending passion for the craft of building worlds more fantastic and alive than our everyday existence can ever be, and truly believes that film is enhanced life. Currently based in Stockholm, Sweden, she has lived in Denmark, Spain and the US and don´t want restrict her career to one country but believes that every film has it’s ideal surroundings to be made in.
